Goodphil is an event held over spring break where individual FSA’s gather in one city to celebrate Filipino culture, as well as ourselves as Filipino-American college students. It is a weekend-long celebration of us. Volunteers will be needed for a variety of roles:

The UH Center for Public History presents a panel, consisting of historians, literary scholars, and a curandera, exploring the role of Mexican healing in American history and today’s society. We will discuss how the history of healing informs the present and what the relationship of curanderismo and biomedicine can tell us about community, health care, and covid-19.
This presentation will discuss public information related to John Deere project funded by the US DOE-PowerAmerica. Through PowerAmerica, John Deere has formed a collaboration with researchers from the US Department of Energy National Renewable Energy Laboratory to develop a 200 kW 1050 VDC silicon carbide (SiC) dual-inverter. The SiC inverter converts vehicle engine power into electrical power needed for the permanent-magnet-motor based powertrain used in heavy-duty construction and mining vehicles. Register for Webinar
