The Gerald D. Hines College of Architecture and Design presents an internationally known exhibit, "Export: Spanish Architecture Abroad." Organizing the contents in six possible ways to practice architecture today, and complemented by the intervention of external agents, this exhibition offers a richer and original view of Spanish architecture abroad.

Lectures and Conferences Training and Workshops Students Featured

The Empower Conference will provide the opportunity for students, faculty, and staff to build their leadership presence, understand gender-related leadership issues, and build a foundation for continued leadership development and success. Through this conference, attendees will explore topics such as women’s leadership, gender roles, and intersectionality.

Community Students

The 7th annual Public Official of the Year luncheon will honor four public official from the Houston Metropolitan area who have demonstrated the ideals of public service. Hosted annually by the Master of Public Administration program, this event is generously underwritten by the late Peter Brown, former City of Houston Council member and former director of Houston Tomorrow.

Arts Students Faculty

Public Art at the University of Houston System will be hosting tours of the UH System Public Art Collection the first Friday of each month throughout the 2017-2018 academic year. PLEASE NOTE some of these tours take place at UH and some at UH Downtown. All of the tours are free and open to the public, but those interested in attending are asked to view the schedule and RSVP for the dates they would like to attend. A schedule of the tours can be found on the Public Art webpage.
