Blaffer Art Museum presents first solo museum exhibition in the United States for UH Alumna Maria A. Guzmán Capron.
The Blaffer Art Museum is proud to present the first solo museum exhibition in Texas of artistic and life partners Nick Vaughan and Jake Margolin (working collaboratively as “Nick & Jake”), whose poignant interdisciplinary practice marries art, theatre, performance, archival research, and spoken word.

“Let’s Talk” is a program that provides easy access to informal confidential consultations with therapists from Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS). Consultations are available to the entire UH community – students, staff, and faculty. Consultations are free of charge, and no appointment or paperwork is needed.

Learn about all their upcoming events, services, and ways you can get involved. The more stops you visit, the more giveaways you can get! We’re giving away t-shirts, gas gift cards, and a Nintendo Switch!

You are cordially invited to the 2022 Fall Convocation on Thursday, Sept. 1 at 6:30pm at Moores Opera House. Welcoming remarks will be given by President Renu Khator. The keynote speaker is Krystafer Redden (’13), Chief of Staff, Rhode Island Department of Education.
The University of Houston women’s soccer team will be kicking off their season against BIG12 opponent and in-state rival Baylor at 7 PM on September 1st. This match will be the first athletic event of the school year. Cooling towels and misting fans will be given away to those in attendance, while supplies last. Students will be able to claim two tickets for this match and every match this upcoming season.
