It is about the people as much as it is about the technology, said Luis Torres, Ph.D., research committee member and a BTI Institute co-founder. 

Torres sat down with Think KERA to discuss technology and its applications at the border. 

"Our job is to produce good science that can help our law enforcement partners and policy makers develop good policy," said Torres.

Torres also discussed the proposal to build a wall along the U.S. Mexico border.
