Administration & Finance / News / News ReleaseFOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Courtney Stein Faculty, Staff Invited to UH Football Ticket Giveaway and TailgateHouston, Sept. 26, 2018 - It's once again time for the University of Houston's annual Faculty and Staff Ticket Giveaway and Tailgate event. UH Faculty Senate and UH Staff Council will host the Game Day Ticket Giveaway from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Friday, Sept. 28, in the Student Center South Space City Room. Representatives from UH Athletics will be on hand to distribute free tickets and T-shirts to the UH vs. Tulsa football game. To participate in the ticket giveaway, faculty and staff must be full-time, benefits-eligible employees and present their UH ID. Free tickets and tees will be limited to one per person while supplies last and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. When picking up the free ticket at the Ticket Giveaway, employees will be able to purchase additional tickets for family and friends for $10 each. The tickets are in a reserved seating section, so faculty and staff who wish to sit together with friends, family or large groups are encouraged to purchase any additional tickets at the ticket giveaway event.
