UH Security Officer Succumbs to IllnessHouston, June 13, 2018 —University of Houston Security Officer Lead Loretta Newman passed away on Monday, June 11. Newman, who succumbed to illness, was employed at UH for 16 years and made many friends. She also gained the respect and confidence of all those who worked with her. She was known for being a good person, good employee and good friend. Many people at the University depended on her. She will be missed.
