Houston, Jan. 30, 2017 — Comedian Lisa Lampanelli will perform at the University of Houston's Cullen Performance Hall later this spring.

The show is scheduled for Saturday, April 15, at 8 p.m. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster's website or by phone at 800-745-3000. Tickets may also be bought on the day of the show with cash only at the Cullen Performance Hall box office, while supplies last.

Lampanelli started her rise to the top of the comedy food chain in 2002 when she was the only female comedian invited to skewer Chevy Chase at the New York Friars Club Comedy Central Roast. She's had several specials on Comedy Central, including "Dirty Girl," which was also released as a comedy album that was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2007.

The "Queen of Mean" joined the ranks of comedy greats with her 2009 HBO comedy special, "Long Live the Queen." She shot her fifth stand-up special, "Back to the Drawing Board," which premiered on EPIX in 2015 and was nominated for a Grammy Award that same year.
