UH Printing Services Cleans up at Graphic Excellence Awards

Houston, April 19, 2017 —UH Printing Services received numerous honors at the Printing Industries of the Gulf Coast's 2017 Graphic Excellence Awards. The awards ceremony was held April 5.

For the second year in a row, Printing Services swept the Division I category, winning all four of the trophies in that category. It won Best in Division I for the Spring/Summer 2016 issue of Inside Bauer magazine; the Division I gold for the Honors College Annual Report; the Division I silver for the 2015 President's Report; and the Division I bronze for Cougar Calendar.

Printing Services also won the Best Implant Entry for the Spring/Summer 2016 issue of Inside Bauer magazine. This is the fifth consecutive year in which Printing Services has been recognized in this prestigious category.

The Graphic Excellence Awards ceremony, held annually by the Printing Industries of the Gulf Coast, recognizes the leading printers and designers in the Gulf Coast region. The reception is one of the major annual industry events in the region, attracting more than 300 Houston-area professionals in the print, graphics bindery and marketing industry every year.
