Houston, Jan. 5, 2017 — UH Dining Services will offer nutritious Freshii "grab n go" options beginning Jan. 17 at all Cougar Xpress Markets. Freshii has become a popular staple in the Student Center since opening in January 2015. Introducing the grab n go options across campus will allow students, faculty and staff access to a variety of healthier options. "We are adding Freshii salads, wraps and snack items to all our stores across campus," said Taushah Crawford, convenience retail manager. Salad offerings will include the Zen salad with tofu, Cobb salad with chicken, and Buffalo salad with chicken. There are two wrap offerings: the Buffalo chicken and Falafel. The various snack offerings are hard-boiled eggs, yogurt parfait, Asian slaw, veggie cups, fruit cups and various quinoa cups. "Each grab n go item will feature a label detailing nutritional information so customers can easily find the ingredients and determine which option best fits their dietary needs," Crawford said.
