Food Truck Pilot Test Run Near Calhoun Lofts Completed

Houston, April 10, 2017 — University of Houston Dining Services has wrapped up a food truck pilot test run on the west side of Calhoun Lofts.

The pad site allowed four trucks to serve customers during the 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. lunch period. During the three weeks the pilot site was in operation, UH Dining noticed increased customer traffic, but will continue to explore other pad options on campus as the end of the semester nears.

UH Dining and Auxiliary Services thank students who have provided valuable feedback about the location and the food truck program.

The food trucks will now return to their original pad site behind Cemo Hall for the remainder of the spring semester.
