Houston, April 3, 2017 — Byron Bolton has joined the UH Dining team as the new chef manager at the Fresh Food Company in Moody Towers.

Bolton, a Houston native, spent his time learning the culinary trade at Houston Community College and the Conrad N. Hilton School of Hotel and Restaurant Management. He has worked for Aramark at several colleges, including the University of St. Thomas, the University of Texas at San Antonio and Stephen F. Austin University before coming to the University of Houston.

Bolton's favorite part of working in higher education dining is interacting with employees and guests. He also enjoys learning different restaurant concepts such as the Fresh Food Company and Real Food on Campus.

"It's an adventure," he said.

As his newest adventure, Bolton hopes to keep learning new and exciting ways to continue the improvement of campus dining services.
