Take part in National Night Out and Walk in the Dark

On Tuesday, Oct. 1, the University of Houston Police Department will be sponsoring National Night Out activities on campus.

This event is open for all UH students, staff and faculty to come outside and visit with one another. National Night Out is an annual event designed to strengthen the campus community's spirit and partnerships and promote crime prevention awareness. Hot dogs and other snacks will be available during this event. Radio station 95.7 FM will be there.

The Walk in the Dark will be held immediately after National Night Out. This is an opportunity for the UH community to walk through areas of the campus with a representative from the UH Department of Public Safety and Facilities Management to identify areas that may raise concern.

This is an important day for the community and this why participation is so important.
Contact Sgt. Damian Martinez or Sgt. David Miller at 713-743-3333 should you have any questions about the event.

The UH Police Department looks forward to seeing everyone at Lynn Eusan Park from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. for the National Night Out event and the Walk The Dark immediately afterward.
