Coke Price Increase Still Keeps Prices Lower than Convenience Stores
Prices on the Coca-Cola vending
machines have recently increased, yet the new price is
still significantly lower than the
same product at convenience stores.
The can price has increased from
$0.75 to $0.85 and the bottle price
has increased from $1.15 to $1.25.
The increase now places the
beverages in line with the current
market.
The last increase was in August of
2006, so prices have remained the
same for the past four years.
Students, faculty and staff can also
expect to see changes on the vending
equipment on campus, which has been
retrofitted with an energy management
system that keeps drinks cold and
reduces energy consumption.
