Signing up to be a Green Commuter at
UH is getting easier. University
Services and METRO teamed up for the
Green Commuter Fair during the first
week of September. Students received
a discounted student Q-Card, five
dollars worth of rides with METRO
and commuting advice from Assistant
Vice President of University
Services Emily Messa on how to cut
down on commuting woes. The event
was a success with over 600 students
signing up for a METRO Q-Card.
Students, faculty and staff can
still get a Q-card anytime of the
year at the Parking and
Transportation Office at the Welcome
Center or you can visit
www.ridemetro.org. Be a
lean mean Coog machine and ride
green today!
