FOOD SERVICE REVISIONING: MARKETMATCH PROGRAM WILL HELP SHAPE CAMPUS DINING

As the University of Houston works to re-create its student experience and become a residential campus, UH Dining Services is re-visioning its future plans on campus to better align with this goal.

The UHDS student team was on campus conducting surveys on students current dining habits and preferences. The research collected will be compiled into a central report and used to help UHDS develop a 3-5 year plan for the University.

The most immediate focus of the research is what concepts, existing or new, are the best fit for the new University Center space. More long-term goals include determining the ideal number of locations on campus and ensuring that locations are placed in areas that best fit campus traffic patterns, especially when more students are living on campus.
