Dish amnesty offered at Fresh Food Company and Cougar Woods

UH Dining Services has launched a Dish Amnesty Program for the Fresh Food Company at Moody Towers and the RFoC at Cougar Woods.

As part of its sustainability efforts, UH Dining has eliminated the use of Styrofoam and replaced traditional to-go containers and cups with reusable ones at both dining halls. Throughout the semester, more than 800 plates, bowls, cups and silverware sets have disappeared. This makes it really hard to avoid using disposables.

For this reason, UH Dining is encouraging all students to return any dishware, cups, silverware or to-go containers to the dining halls with no penalties and no questions asked. UH Dining simply want to be able to continue the program without having to use disposables.
