NEW EXECUTIVE CHEF TO JOIN RESIDENTIAL DINING TEAM


UH Dining Services is proud to introduce Executive Chef David Romines as the newest member of its culinary team.

Romines, the new executive chef for The Fresh Food Company and Real Food on Campus, brings with him more than 25 years of experience as well as a passion for sustainability in food.

�I envision a world in which all people can eat food that is good for them, good for the people who grow it and good for the planet,� said Romines. �I am committed to the grassroots movement of supporting local and sustainable agriculture.�

In his most recent role as Regional Chef/Food and Beverage Director, Romines was responsible for overseeing the food and beverage programs of 10 hotel properties, including such brands as Marriot, Hilton and Crowne Plaza. He has also been an executive chef with The Henry Ford Museum in Michigan and the Treasure Bay Casino in Mississippi.

�I am very pleased to be joining the UH team as the executive chef,� said Romines.�I have spent more than 25 years developing my skills in the culinary field and am excited to share with you my vision and commitment to the love of food.�
