Save time and money with a fall meal plan

By Kimberly Cooper

Food is an important part of everyday life and keeps you focused throughout the day. University of Houston Dining Services offers a variety of fall meal plans for every schedule and appetite whether you live on campus, are a commuter student or work at UH.

Resident and commuter students

The residential meal plans are customized for students who live in residential halls or around campus and offer a variety of options to fit every schedule. They feature a certain number of meals in the all-you-care-to-eat dining halls, a discounted amount of Cougar Cash and the convenience of dining at residential or retail locations. The Shasta Pass Unlimited comes with an unlimited number of meals and is perfect for someone who likes to grab a snack or coffee between classes, while the Cougar Choice 160 and Sasha Swipe 15 are suited for a tight class schedule. When you purchase a meal plan, you can eat for as little as $5.25 per meal. Cougar Cash comes with all meal plan options and can be used at retail locations, food trucks and convenience stores.

Commuter meal plans are designed for an easy breakfast, lunch or dinner without the inconvenience of leaving campus. Block plans feature a set number of meals and discounted Cougar Cash with purchase to spend at the dining halls, food courts, food trucks and convenience stores. Students can eat on campus for as little as $6 per meal.
