Living on campus continues to be a financially and sound way for students to maximize their success.

The housing rates for the 2015-2016 academic year were approved by the University of Houston System board of regents on Feb. 19. The rates can be viewed here.

“Living on campus at the University of Houston is a phenomenal deal,” said Don Yackley, executive director of Student Housing and Residential Life. “When you consider the convenience and all the exceptional programs and services included, such as Wi-Fi, television service and all utilities, it becomes even clearer what a great bargain it is.”

Student Housing and Residential Life is an auxiliary service that is self-supporting. It does not receive state funding. An advisory board comprising five student leaders, two staff members and two faculty members played a vital role in determining the rates at all seven on-campus residential communities.

The housing application process for the fall semester is already underway. To apply, students should log in here using their myUH ID and password, then click on the myHousing icon to begin the process. More information about the housing options can be found online.
