As the UH Policies and Procedures World Turns
Two New Features on the UH Policies and Procedures Web Site
After receiving many suggestions
concerning user activities to track
procedures as the review and
approval processes go forward, two
new features have been added to the
UH Policies and Procedures web site.
The first enhancement, Approval
Status, tracks all SAMs and MAPPs
as they enter the approval process
after the Campus Review and
Executive Review cycles are
finished. These two sites are
updated each day as the status
changes on specific documents. There
are also links to all
revision-tracked documents in the
approval stage.
 The current SAM Approval Status
web site is:
https://www.uh.edu/af/universityservices/policies/Approval_Status/sam/Status_114.htm.
The template will be updated each
quarter. The most current version
can always be found on the SAM
Updates drop-down menu.
 The current MAPP Approval Status
web site is:
https://www.uh.edu/af/universityservices/policies/Approval_Status/mapp/Status_114.htm.
This template will also be updated
each quarter. The most current
version can always be found on the MAPP Updates drop-down menu.
The second enhancement, Pending
Review, tracks all SAMs and MAPPs
in the redlining/review phase before
they enter Campus Review. These
lists will be updated as changes
occur and documents are received for
a review cycle.
 The current SAM Pending Review
web site is:
https://www.uh.edu/af/universityservices/policies/Pending_Review/SAM/PendRev_114.htm.
The template will be updated each
quarter. The most current version
can always be found on the SAM
Updates drop-down menu.
 The current MAPP Pending Review
web site is:
https://www.uh.edu/af/universityservices/policies/Pending_Review/MAPP/Pend_Rev_114.htm.
This template will also be updated
each quarter. The most current
version can always be found on the MAPP Updates drop-down menu.
Hopefully, these two enhancements
will make the review and approval
processes for SAMs and MAPPs easier
for users to track. Stay tuned for
more updates!
