INSTALLATION OF CAMPUS POSTING KIOSKS

As an additional resource to post items for informative purposes to the campus community and as a method to control unauthorized postings on campus, Facilities Management has installed five (5) kiosks throughout campus. These kiosks are located in centralized areas where students will be able to see upcoming events or news from organization and departments (please reference map):

A West side of UC Satellite
B East side of PGH
C North of Bates Hall
D NE corner of Cougar Village
E SW corner of the UC

The posting kiosks can be used by students, staff and faculty for posting, promoting and marketing campus and community events and schedules, or for other informative purposes. The posting kiosks will be governed by MAPP Policy 03.01.05 which has been recently approved by the administration. The Facilities Management Grounds department will be responsible for the cleaning of the kiosks on a bi-weekly or as-needed basis. All kiosks will be completely cleaned at the end of each semester. The recommended adhesive to use when posting is blue painters tape, but any tape other than duct tape will be acceptable. Flyers posted to the campus kiosks should be limited to a maximum size of 8.5 x 14.

If you have any questions or concerns related to the campus kiosks, please contact Roger Warner, Sr. Project Manager for Landscape & Waste Services at 713-743-9671 or rwwarner@central.uh.edu
