The University of Houston System and Texas Department of Transportation Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) and CREW (Creating Relationships by Engaging Workforces) Forum was held May 17.
The goal of the forum was to provide certified HUBs/DBEs and potential HUBs/DBEs insightful and detailed information about universities, state agencies and TxDOT procurement practices as well as current bid opportunities. The event was held in the Houston Room of the Student Center.
HUB and DBE certification classes were provided. The event also allowed vendors the opportunity to learn about upcoming TxDOT construction projects and network with prime contractors that could potentially bid on these projects.
