Hurricane Season Here We Come

The Department of Public Safety�s Emergency Management Bureau is preparing for the upcoming hurricane season. Along with publishing the 72-Hour Emergency Campus/Travel Preparedness Kit Checklist, coordinating the ride out teams and credentials, completing a table top exercise and incorporating the community into our plans for emergency response, the emergency management team is ready for activation. Joe Mendez, Emergency Management Director, stated �We are ready to go.� Mr. Mendez�s enthusiasm has helped jump start the hurricane season to a new level for the University of Houston.
