University Facilities - Key Changes in July 2011

As part of the Student Success Team Administrative Review (S-STAR), auxiliary and campus facility support services are being integrated across campus. Several key initiatives are now preparing to roll out:

University Wide Facilities Services Call Center (FSC) to Open July 5th
The FSC will provide a point of service call center that will increase the level of technical and service support. This will allow for all facilities' needs to be routed through one service center and directly dispatched to the shops as well as extend the current service hours and days of operation.

New Hours of Operation
Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Saturday 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Sunday 12:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Building Coordinator Program to begin July 13th & 18th - This program, which will provide for a primary and alternate point of contact in each university facility, will facilitate communications, support facility capital planning and represent user needs within the buildings by creating a forum for discussion and resolution of occupancy problems. Building Coordinators will be called upon to help assist in resolving building issues and after-hours, building-related emergencies and will serve a critical role in helping Plant Operations meet all campus facility and safety needs.
