Abigail Nivens has joined the University of Houston Dining Services team as its new marketing coordinator.
Nivens graduated in December with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. While in college, she served as the marketing intern for the dining program and completed an internship with UH Dining last summer.
With her valuable knowledge of the University of Houston, Nivens looks forward to bringing fresh ideas and assisting in elevating the residential dining program.
“Being a recent graduate and former meal plan holder, I understand students are looking for a fun and innovative program,” she said. “I look forward to working with our operations team and continuing the growth of the current program.”
UH Dining has a goal to increase student engagement through various communication outlets and Nivens will assist in overseeing this process through managing social media accounts, developing residential events and creating new campus partnerships.
“I look forward to meeting the students and increasing our engagement by continuing to develop partnerships throughout campus,” she said.
