The University of Houston Office of Emergency Management encourages the UH community to be prepared for all kinds of emergencies, including any poor weather that may descend on the Houston area this winter.
Winter weather can sneak up in a hurry, so it is always important to be ready. While the Houston area doesn’t normally experience the winter weather conditions that cities in the northern region of the country do, there have been hard freezes and icy roads.
Here are a few driving safety tips to keep safe during the winter months:
