Annual DPS Chili Cook Off
The University of Houston Department
of Public Safety had its first
annual Chili Cook-off. Members of
the Department of Public Safety had
an opportunity to enter their best
Chili into the contest which would
be tested by four judges. The Judges
for this year�s event were Chief
Malcolm Davis, Police Dispatcher
James Lancaster, Special Guest Ray
Kelley and Special Guest Wendy
Kruse. The Chili contestants were
rated in five different categories;
aroma, color, consistency, taste and
aftertaste. The contestants for this
years event were, Amy Weist and
Henry Landin, Paul Mauro, Robert and
Ginger Walker, Jeremy Johnston and
Matthew Wilson. The winning chili
was made by Robert and Ginger
Walker. With a great turn out and
lots of holiday music the event was
a great way to gather before the
holidays and celebrate.
