A new blog coming straight from University of Houston Parking and Transportation Services Director Bob Browand will touch on a wide range of subjects, including parking on campus, alternative transportation options, industry topics as they relate to UH and much more.
In an effort to give students, faculty and staff a real, transparent look into the department, the blog, which social media followers voted to name “Word on the Street,” will publish honest and sometimes blunt posts on Tuesdays, two to four times a month. The blog is a page within the www.uh.edu/parking site and can be found at www.uh.edu/wordonthestreet.
Browand is looking forward to engaging with readers, who will have the opportunity to suggest future topics to be covered.
“There’s always a lot of talk going on about parking. This blog is just what we need to really open up and get involved in the conversation,” he said. “I’m excited to share it with the campus community.”
