Three Aramark Employees From the University of Houston Recognized at Annual Thrive Summit
From July 12-16th,
ARAMARK higher educations southwest
region held its annual THRIVE summit
at Southern Methodist University in
Dallas.
University of Houston Dining
Services was represented by 15
managers. THRIVE (Thoughtful,
Heartfelt, Results Driven,
Innovative, Valued and Trusted,
Engaged) is a week-long event that
gives ARAMARK managers the
opportunity to be educated about the
goals of their company.
The THRIVE Recognition Program is
the basis of the commitments they
make to their clients, customers,
community and employees. THRIVE is
the cornerstone of the ARAMARK
commitment to customer service and
hospitality.
Each year at the THRIVE Training
Summit, the Southwest Leadership
Team recognizes managers and
components that have gone above and
beyond in the following ways:
 Thoughtful: doing things that
really show you care
 Heartfelt: being zealously
committed to your work
 Results Driven: driving for
solutions
 Innovative: doing things that
distinguish ARAMARK from the rest
 Valued and Trusted: operating with
integrity and delivering on your
promises
 Engaged: embracing a spirit of
partnership and teamwork
This year, three of the University

recognized for outstanding
commitment. The three managers were

entire UH System and looking out for
his fellow managers. This is the

he isnt willing to accomplish.
The Silver recipient was John

of one of the busiest locations on
campus and will succeed in ARAMARK
as a senior leader.
The Bronze recipient was Valarie
Holub, who was recognized for being

done a wonderful job the past year
despite the tough economic times.
