A site analysis was conducted to identify sidewalks requiring modifications to mitigate water drainage issues, trip hazards and ADA barriers around the University of Houston campus, as well as at the College of Pharmacy building in the Texas Medical Center.
Twenty locations were identified requiring minor repairs, removal and replacement of concrete and site drainage modifications.
The sidewalk work began Monday, March 30, and will be completed by May 6.
Each sidewalk location will be closed to pedestrian traffic at the time construction work is being undertaken. Areas around the construction areas will still be available for pedestrian use.
