University of Houston Parking and Transportation Services has launched an online appointment booking system.
By scheduling an appointment online, members of the UH community can select the time that fits their schedule and avoid waiting in line. After booking an appointment, users will receive an email confirmation. When they arrive at the Welcome Center, they go straight to the Parking Express Services counter for immediate assistance.
Users can schedule appointments during regular business hours, including extended hours during peak times like back to school.
“We are excited to launch this customer-focused scheduling option so that our users can choose their preferred time to visit our customer service counter for assistance,” Parking and Transportation Assistant Director Eric Holamon said. “This option will provide the user with expedited service since they will get to skip the line and receive immediate help. Additionally, since we will capture information like an individual’s myUH number and the reason for their visit during the booking process, we should be able to anticipate the needs of our customers prior to their arrival, ensuring an increased level of service.”
Parking and Transportation Services strives to find innovative ways to better serve customers, and this new option will greatly reduce the amount of time visitors will have to spend waiting in line and explaining issues to customer service representatives at the parking office.
