The new PGH/ERP route will launch on Monday, Aug. 15, along with the Bayou Oaks and Cullen Oaks routes. Coogs, our third installment of the 2016-2017 Parking Preview series covers everything you need to know about how our Cougar Line Shuttle Service will be changing this fall.
Over the last few years, many students, as well as faculty and staff, provided us with feedback about our shuttle system. After taking much of that feedback into consideration, we worked to tweak our Cougar Line service a bit, to better meet the needs of the campus community.
Therefore, effective Monday, Aug. 15, 2016, you can expect the following changes:
- the Campus Loop route will no longer run. The buses currently used for this route will be added to the ERP circulation in an effort to decrease wait times.
- the Outer Loop will be split into two separate routes - the Bayou Oaks route and the Cullen Oaks route. The maps below outline the path these buses will be taking.
- the ERP line will be split into two separate routes, with one that stops at the Student Center and the other that stops at PGH. The maps for these routes are below, as well.
- the ERP Express route option will be removed from rotation and all ERP buses will stop at the Eastwood Transit Center
BAYOU OAKS ROUTE
CULLEN OAKS ROUTE
PGH-ERP ROUTE
STUDENT CENTER-ERP ROUTE
