Bookstore to Host Spring Grad Fair 2018

Graduating students will have the opportunity to order everything from caps and gowns to diploma frames at the upcoming Spring Grad Fair. The fair is taking place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 20 through Thursday, Feb. 22 at the UH Bookstore in Student Center South.

Representatives from multiple organizations including Herff Jones, Grad Images and Balfour will be on-site offering sizing, special promotions and answering questions about their graduation products and services. There will also be caps and gowns available for students to take graduation photos while attending the fair.

“We encourage students to take advantage of this event,” said Bill Schaub, general manager for Barnes & Noble at UH. “Getting their proper sizes and making their orders early helps take some of the stress out of their upcoming commencement.”

Attendees who visit the vendor booths will be given a raffle ticket for a chance to win a prize. These prizes include:

  • 10K UH ring donated by Balfour
  • Windsor diploma frame donated by Herff Jones
  • Free regalia donated by the UH Bookstore
  • Three photo prize packs from Grad Images
