Auxiliary Services to Celebrate Oktoberfest During Campus Prowl

campus prowlIt may only be August, but University of Houston students will soon be able to celebrate Oktoberfest with the friendly staff in Auxiliary Services.

That’s because the Auxiliary Services offices will be one of numerous stops on the upcoming Campus Prowl, a one-day campus-wide open house event.

This year’s event takes place Thursday, Sept. 7, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Each of the stops will have a “destination success” theme. Auxiliary Services chose to celebrate Oktoberfest.

Students who stop by the Auxiliary Services office during that time will be able to munch on pretzels and drink root beer. There will also be other giveaways. The office is located in Suite 103 on the ground floor of the University Lofts building, directly across from Melcher Hall.

Students who participate in the event receive a passport that they take with them and get stamped at the various participating locations around campus, which they can drop off at the Student Center South Information Desk and be entered into prize drawings.
