UH Dining Welcomes New Manager to Cougar Woods


Nikit BhattUniversity of Houston Dining Services welcomes Nikit Bhatt as the new location manager for Cougar Woods Dining Hall.

Bhatt, a hotel and restaurant management major, is a 2014 graduate of the Conrad N. Hilton College at the University of Houston. He joins the team with over a year of managerial experience while serving in Aramark’s Accelerate to Leadership program.

“I started the Accelerate to Leadership program as a manager at St. Luke’s Hospital in Houston,” he said. “I assisted with managing the housekeeping and facilities department.”

Bhatt’s responsibilities at UH include assisting the team with accounting, inventory and records, scheduling labor, employee training and ensuring that the service is meeting Aramark’s brand standards and policies.

“My goal while serving at the University of Houston Dining Services is to ensure that we are meeting Aramark’s brand standard and work closely with the team to exceed our customers’ expectations every day,” he said. “I enjoy assisting our customers and providing them with nutritious food while on campus.”

In his spare time, Bhatt loves to watch basketball, football and enjoys watching ESPN SportsCenter to keep up with his favorite teams.

“My favorite basketball player is Lebron James,” he said. “I really like his playing skills but I also like him because he does charity work and empowers others to lead better lives.”
