University of Houston Dining Services is excited to introduce Torik Banks as its new director of operations.
Banks, a graduate of McMurry University, will lead the way by serving and supporting all food services operations including retail, residential, catering and the UH food truck program. He will collaborate with Aramark support teams in human resources, marketing and finance.
“My job is to serve and support the team on the ground, said Banks. “I want to make sure that we align with our customers’ and our clients’ expectations and we deliver on our brand promises.”
Banks, a 15-year veteran of the food service industry, brings both manager and operations experience to the University of Houston. He has held top management positions with Aramark, including food service director and director of operations at the University of Texas at San Antonio. His vast knowledge of food service management and experience will help him in his new role at UH.
“My philosophy is creating an experience that is second to none at the University of Houston,” said Banks. “My job is to make sure that we are delivering the best customer service experience possible.”
