The University of Houston’s newest dining location, Freshii, will celebrate its grand opening on Wednesday, Jan. 21, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Located on the first floor of the newly renovated Student Center, Freshii is a fast-casual dining location that offers rice bowls, soups, wraps and salads that feature nutrition-packed ingredients such as kale, spinach, quinoa, edamame and falafel, among others.

Freshii will officially open on Tuesday, Jan. 20, but will celebrate its grand opening the following day in conjunction with the rest of the Student Center. The grand opening will feature more than 500 menu item samples, door prizes, and a drawing for an iPad Mini.
