Maintenance Work Planned for Parking Lots, University Entrances

Maintenance work kicked off this week and will continue throughout the summer on various campus parking lots and entrances.

The projects are being planned to minimize the amount of disruption and impact on students, faculty, staff and visitors.

Parking lot repairs will take place in lots 6A, 6B, 8A, 9C, 12A, 16B, 16D, 18A, 19B and at the Energy Research Park. Most of the work involves preventative asphalt maintenance. Areas of these lots will be unavailable for parking when repairs are taking place.

Concrete and curb repairs are also planned this summer for Entrance 1 and Entrance 14. This work may involve temporary lane closures and traffic disruptions.

The UH community is encouraged to check the Parking and Transportation websiteFacebook page and Twitter page, where further updates may be posted as needed.
