UH Dining needs your votes so its 'In the Paint Dessert Nachos' can win the Menu Madness tourney

As the University of Houston men's basketball team gets ready to try to win it all in the NCAA basketball tournament, the UH Dining team is in a competition of its own: Menu Madness!

Sixteen dining teams from universities participating in the March Madness basketball tournament were chosen to participate in the recipe competition, which is being organized by Food Management and is now in its fourth year.

When the call for entries went out to schools, UH Dining submitted three recipes. Its In the Paint Dessert Nachos was selected. All of the competing schools' entries are posted online.

The first round of competition has already kicked off. UH is up against Kentucky and its Korean Rice Bowl recipe. The school that gets the most votes will move on to the second round. That's why the UH Dining team needs your support!

Voting is done online. Casting a ballot is easy. You can vote as many times as you want. Voting for the first round ends at midnight Monday, March 25. Results will be posted the next day by 10 a.m. on Food Management's website.
