UH Provost Short and VPR Elnashai hosted a Town Hall to communicate the accomplishments and performance of UH faculty toward 50-in-5 goals.

During this 50-in-5 Town Hall, Provost Short and VP Elnashai:

  • Report progress on research activities
  • Announce new faculty success celebration events
  • Discuss plans for marketing and communicating faculty success
  • Reveal the proposed Scholar’s Walk

February 14, 2019

This town hall meeting introduced faculty to our DC partners and proposal development company McAllister & Quinn. After a brief introduction of the 50-in-5 initiative, McAllister & Quinn provided an update on DC funding agencies and the services and support mechanisms that the company offers to UH professors.

McAllister & Quinn is a consulting firm headquartered in Washington, DC that specializes in assisting healthcare, higher education, and non-profit clients in obtaining federal grant funding. The firm also specializes in providing appropriations lobbying and consulting in federal grants.
