PERCEPTUAL SUBBAND IMAGE COMPRESSION

The evaluation of image quality is depended upon the responses of Human Vision System (HVS). Utilizing the perceptual response and visual qualified cost function (such as perceptual entropy), we present the Visual Group Normalization method for optimal wavelet decomposition.
