Required Textbook: N. Gregory Mankiw, Principles of Microeconomics 3rd ed.
Course Requirements:
Four midterm exams: 75% (total)
Homeworks: 25% (requires Aplia subscription)
Attendance: Attendance is not required, except on the dates of the exams. However, students who consistently attend lectures often perform substantially better on exams than students who are frequently absent. Much of my lecture material is similar to material in the textbook, but I will sometimes lecture on additional topics not found in the text. For the exams, you are responsible for both lecture material and assigned reading material.
Homeworks: Weekly homework assignments are found on the Aplia web site. These assignments will collectively count for 25% of the grade. Think of the regular assignments on Aplia as a weekly Economics workout. Homework problems will be similar in nature to some exam questions. The three lowest of you homework grades will be dropped; the rest will count for 25% in total.
Aplia Course Key: 4F53-BECT-K687 , Read more about Aplia
