The SANDI Project is a five-year, $5 million dollar collaborative research project between the University of Houston, The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada, and several other Houston hospitals. The project aims to analyze and aid neurobehavioral outcomes in in children, adolescents, and adults with spina bifida.
We utilize the safe and noninvasive technologies of MRI and MEG in our research, which enables us to see the brain mechanisms responsible for cognitive functions.
