R. Craig Stillwell

The aim of my research program is to integrate across biological disciplines to understand how physiological and genetic mechanisms generate evolutionary patterns in complex phenotypes. A key strength of my research is that I combine fields as disparate as evolutionary ecology, developmental physiology and molecular genetics to tackle questions at multiple levels, using insects as model systems.

Research Interests

Body size evolution, sexual size dimorphism, allometries, phenotypic plasticity, latitudinal clines, thermal biology
