Macroeconomic Principles

ECON 2305

Aggregate economy, focusing on economics of inflation, recession, unemployment and national economic policy. Includes determinants of economic growth, monetary policy by the Federal Reserve, government taxation and spending policies, business cycle theory, the international trade debate and the determination of interest rates. Prerequisite: MATH 1310 or equivalent.
