Contributing to Diversified Radio Broadcasting

As the host of diverse programs on Rice University Radio, including the Community Affairs program, Regional and Historical Music Show, and as the current director of the World Music Show, I have improved programming at KTRU. As I have initiated interesting new programs and interviews, the general program hosts have responded with great enthusiasm. As a result, they pursue wider interests and have increased knowledge of indigenous and culture-based music. KTRU has translated the increased interest in diversity from its DJs to its listening audience, and to the community events the station sponsors.
