The construction industry is a major force to US economy. More than 8 million workers are employed in this industry. It is expected that another approximately 1 million new construction jobs will be added between 2002 and 2012. That makes the construction industry among the top 10 largest sources of job growth. The Construction Management program at the University of Houston offers both an undergraduate and graduate degree in Construction Management Technology and currently more than 250 undergraduate students and 25 graduate students are enrolled. The objective of this program is to provide graduates with knowledge and skills that are valued and sought by the construction industry profession. During my graduate student career, I was appointed as course instructor in 2002 and teaching assistant in 2001 at the University of Alberta. At the University of Houston, I have taught at both undergraduate and graduate level courses in the areas of construction project management, project planning and scheduling, quality management, computer applications in construction, and reinforced concrete and building codes. Below is my class schedule for fall 2008. All courses materials are available online in UH WebCT.
