.

James Harvey married Anna Isabella Dye (great grandaughter of Ezekiel Dye, Sr. ) on February 8, 1969. They lived in Renrock, Ohio where he owned and operated the general store previously owned by his father, Samuel J. Paxton. He used to trade candy for indian artifacts that the local kids found in the fields. I have a wonderful ax head and many arrow heads that had been on display in his store. James and Anna had three children:

  1. Lulu Lottie Paxton
    [b. March 19, 1870 d. December 22, 1942]
[married Stanley Blackstone Ogan on February 24, 1894]

  2. Rosa Dye Paxton -- "Aunt Rosie"
    [b. October 21, 1873 d. September 30, 1968]
[unmarried - lived with her brother Charles and became my "grandmother"]

  3. Charles D. Paxton
    [b. July 28, 1979 d. February 15, 1963]
    [married Georgia Hammond in 1903]
    [b. December 9, 1883 d. March 4, 1930]
