KNOW all Men by these Presents,

That we Hannah Dye Disbrow Daniel Disbrow and Joseph Disbrow J John Cox all of the County of Middlesex in the Province of New Jersey --------------------------------------

are held and firmly bound unto His Excellency William Manhelm(?)

______ governor of the Province of ______----------------------------------------------------

In the Sum of four hundred and fifty five Pounds, Proclamation Money, to be paid to the said Governor, his Successors or Assigns; to which Payment well and truly to be made, We bind us, our Heirs, Executors and Administrators, jointly and severally, firmly by these Presents. Sealed with our Seals, and Dated the fourth Day of March Anno Domini One Thousand Seven Hundred and Seventy five.

THE Condition of the Above Obligation

is such, That if the above-bound Hannah Dye Daniel Disbrow J. Joseph Disbrow Administrators of all and singular the Goods, Chattels and Credits of David Dye, decd (?), late of Windsor in the County of aforesaid deceased, do make, or came to be made, a true and perfect Inventory of all and singular the Goods, Chattels and Credits of the said Deceased, which have or shall come to the Hands, Possession or Knowledge of the said Hannah Dye Daniel Disbrow J____ Disbrow or into the Hands of any other Person or Persons for their Use, and the same so made, exhibit or cause to be exhibited into the Registry of the Prerogative Court, in the Secretary's Office at Burlington on or before the fourth Day of June next ensuing; and the same Goods, Chattels and Credits of the said Deceased, at the Time of his Death, or which at any Time after, shall come to the Hands or Possession of the said Hannah Dye Daniel Disbrow & Jn. Disbrow or unto the Hands or Possession of any other Person or Persons, for their Use, do well and truly administer according to Law; and farther do make or cause to be made; a just and true Account of their Administration, on or before the fourth Day of March now next ensuing the Date hereof; and all the Rest and Residue of the said Goods, Chattels, and Credits, which shall be found remaining upon the Account of the said Administrators the same being first examined and allowed of, by the Judge for the Time being, of the said Prerogative Court, shall deliver and pay unto such Person or Persons respectively, as the Said Judge for the Time being, of the said Court, by his Decree or Sentence, pursuant to the true Intent and Meaning of an Act of Parliament, made in the 22d and 23d Years of the Reign of King Charles II, entitled, An Act for Settling Intestate Estates, shall limit and appoint. And it shall hereafter appear, that any last Will and Testament was made by the said Deceased, and the Executor or Executors therein named, do exhibit the same into the said Prerogative Court, making Request to have it allowed and approved accordingly: If the said Hannah Dye Daniel Disbrow J__ Disbrow being thereunto required, do render and deliver up the said Letters of Administration, Approbation of such Testament being first had and made in the said Court; then the above Obligation to be void, or else it shall stand in full Force and Virtue.

Hannah Dye Daniel Disbrow & Jn Disbrow the Assns.(?) as within named being duly sworn did depose & say that David Dye ____ died without any will or Testamentas far as they know & verily believe, that they will well & truly administer all & singular the goods chattels and credits of the said deceased which shall come to their knowledge or possession or the possession of any other person or persons for their use, and that they will exhibit unto the Prerogative Office at Burlington a True and proper Inventory of all & singular the said goods chattels and credits and under a Just & True Inventory of their Administration

John Cox one of the appraisors of the within Inventory being duly sworn did depose & say that the goods chattels & credits in the within Inventory set down & specified were by him & Samuel Street appraised according to their Just & True _______ rates & values after the best of their Judgment and understanding and that they appraised all things which were brot (?) to their view for appraisement.

__________… that on this first day of October 1776 personally appeared Peter Perrine and Nathaniel Fitzrandolph ___ the Witnesses to the within who being ___ ___ ___ are ___Individuals of Almighty God, did formally declare and say that they and each of them were personally present and did see John Dye the testator within named sign seal the within ___ Instrument, and ___him publish pronounce & ___ it to be his Last Will and Testament That at this ____ the saidTestator was of sound Mind & Memory for __________ they ___ believe …and in Witness ___ believe and that P___ [or James?] Perrine is this other subscribing Witness ..was witness at this same (?) Time and subscribed his name as Witness to the said Will together with these ___ into in the Presence of the Said Testator
