Student Paper Competition - 2006

Purpose

The INFORMS Student Chapter at the University of Houston is organizing a Student Paper Competition to recognize student research and foster an environment for students to present their latest research findings.

Eligibility

• All Undergraduate and Graduate students enrolled in the University of Houston system irrespective of the field of study.

Scope

The paper should address research topics in:

• Operation Research
• Management Sciences

Formatting

• Font: 12 point size Times New Roman
• Double line spacing
• Length of paper should not exceed 20 pages excluding references

Restrictions

• Only original work will be accepted.
• Multiple authors are allowed.

Awards

• 1 st prize : $350 / paper
• 2 nd prize : $150 / paper

Important Dates

• Submission deadline: March 24, 2006
• Winner notification: April 14 , 2006
